This is a 2-channel video emerging from/with Fred Moten and Stephano Harney's text 'the University: last words'. The piece has been shot at the schillerplatz building of the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna. Of the oldest running art universities in Europe, this building itself is over a hundred years old. This piece is an attempt to bring Moten and Harney's critique of the university to the academy, and using the academy building as an archetype of 'the university'. The full teXt the university: last words is available here...

in and through its ruins
All photographs used on this website have been taken by me on either Nikon FM2 or the Ondu 135 pinhole camera or a pinhole camera based on Smena 8M camera made by tinastrutis (ebay used id), Lithuania. I have had to migrate my website from weebly, and I found it easier to link up a new domain name and hence you are here. I continue to have kanishka.co.in, and this is just easier for redirecting the website. This website is still under construction and there might be some pages with missing links and so on. Please eXcuse this transition period.
